Baby bottle decay or early childhood caries affects baby teeth or milk teeth.\u00a0 Baby teeth erupt when the child is about 6 months old and stop erupting at around 33 months of age.\u00a0 Many people think that baby teeth are not necessary because they are temporary and will fall out at some point.\u00a0 Baby teeth have an essential role in your child&#8217;s oral health.<\/p>\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<p>Your child&#8217;s baby teeth allow them to speak and chew food thoroughly and adequately.&nbsp; Another important role they play is to preserve space for the permanent or adult teeth to come in or erupt.
