About the Role

We are currently accepting applications for a Senior Dental Administrator / Patient Coordinator with leadership potential. This role is ideal for a seasoned dental professional with extensive front-desk and treatment coordination experience who is ready to take on a leadership-focused position.

You will play a critical role in overseeing the patient experience, supporting daily production goals, coordinating treatment, and acting as a key liaison between the administrative, clinical, and leadership teams. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation, culture, and growth of the practice.

Compensation: $34.00–$37.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire patient reception experience, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, warmth, empathy, and efficiency
  • Manage and optimize multi-provider scheduling to support daily and long-term production goals
  • Coordinate, explain, and present treatment plans and financial agreements with clarity and compassion
  • Supervise the accurate preparation and submission of insurance claims, predeterminations, and treatment estimates, minimizing delays in reimbursement
  • Lead consistent and empathetic communication across all patient channels (phone, email, text, and in-person)
  • Oversee appointment confirmations and follow-ups to reduce no-shows and maintain a steady schedule
  • Take ownership of end-of-day financial and operational reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and readiness for the next business day
  • Serve as a liaison between administrative, clinical, and leadership teams to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Participate in morning huddles and contribute to team alignment and performance
  • Support monthly and annual production targets through effective scheduling and patient coordination

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a dental office environment
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, treatment planning, and scheduling workflows
  • Proven ability to manage multi-provider schedules efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented with strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Proficiency with AbelDent (required; optimal proficiency preferred)
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is considered an asset
