Dr. Rachel Kim graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry. She received numerous clinical and academic awards during her training, including the silver medal for second highest standing over the four-year dental school curriculum. She subsequently completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Connecticut with an emphasis on complex treatment planning, oral implantology, surgical dental procedures, and endodontic therapy.
Dr. Kim has a passion for dentistry and is actively continuing her studies by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education. Above all else, Dr. Kim strongly believes in the importance of communication. She works actively with her patients to ensure their oral health conditions are understood, and a treatment plan can be implemented which meets their needs and goals. For anxious patients, Dr. Kim can also provide various sedation options.
Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys Pilates, hiking, and spending time with her dog Walnut.
